Itcontinually backs out of menus, does not use the standard button layout you'd expect (I played xbox for like 8 years before I built my PC; I'm familiar with how a controller should work). For example, A sometimes is select, but other times isn't; it constantly alt tabs fullscreen games to pull up Steam or Big Picture, and it doesn't work

Strange thing, my controls won't work. Regardless of any button I press on the keyboard, mouse or control pad, the game simply doesn't work. I can however enter the in-game Googlefor the pc controller fix go AC1 and you can get a working profile for the game. I use a wired controller, not sure if it matters. That’s all I got. Exitthe game. Open desktop mode and launch black flag, from the bottom right (taskbar) open ubisoft connect go into the options for ubisoft connect and turn off the overlay and set it to offline mode. Head back to gaming mode and launch black flag, it'll load straight through to the game. Just noticed your having control issues.
