Ultimately what solved my issue was resetting my console back to factory settings. It only took several minutes. Full quit Ghosts, full power reset your xbox (on your xbox console, hole the white xbox symbol for 10 seconds when you hear a "ding ding ding ding") and retry after waiting 5 minutes. That worked!!!
