I've attempted this before, sadly, technically isn't possible due the different mesh mapping system in the editor. Also, I always wanted to convert my PS3 maps to PC, from FC2, FC3 (shutdown) and FC4. Apart from a map editor (check out one mapper's impressive efforts), Far Cry 3 doesn't contain in-depth modding tools. It's a shame, but that hasn't stopped the ambitious members of the official forums from snooping around data files and jungles of code, unearthing tons of tweakable content in the process. .
